Nearly nine years after airing its final episode in June 2008, MTV has revived its popular series, My Super Sweet 16. The reality show which chronicles a typically wealthy teen’s lavish party, initially premiered in January 2005 and aired 61 episodes.
MTV announced the revival of the iconic series via an email blast from casting company Doron Ofir, calling for both boys and girls for their “Sweet Sixteen, Quinceanera, Debutante Ball, Debut, or any other coming of age milestone event.”
The show will also be known as My Super Sweet, allowing them to find people who could potentially be as young as 13 years old.
